  Henry (Harry) Jeuken is a native of Holland and is bi-lingual i.e. Dutch and English. He is passionate about our rural heritage and maintains a way of farming that many have abandoned. The organically farmed gardens and field systems are a joy to visit and Harry's enthusiasm is infectious.

 AGRICULTURAL.

The farm is situated in an idyllic setting in the Poul na Laur valley besided Loughawalla.  Harry is a “Burren Life” farmer. He is an accredited organic farmer who uses traditional methods which maintains the bio diversity and protects this sensitive area.

GEOLOGICAL.

Explore the unique limestone patterns of the crags.  See the erratic. See the fairy tale like valley with its own lake.

ARCHAEOLOGY.

Ring fort Cashel.  There are two Fullachta Fiadh’s, other sites including holy wells, stone huts and Penitential Stations.

 

BOTANY.

This area is a microcosm of the wider Burren containing woodland, limestone pavement and lake shore habitat. Because of the farming system Harry's farm contains an envious bio-diversity .
